It’s inevitable. At some time in your business career you’re going to have to give a client bad news about the work you are doing for them. The tendency for most people is to run away and be a hermit, but that won’t solve the problem.
The best course of action is to be upfront with the client. And that typically works. All of us are human and we all make mistakes. Most people will be empathetic with your situation and will buy into your solution.
