I recently took the 31 day challenge to build a better blog. It’s an enlightening experience and one that newbie or veteran bloggers alike can learn from.
I’ve been blogging since 2004 and it’s easy to get into a rut. The 31 day challenge helped me refresh my blogs (and my habits!) to make them better than ever before. I was reminded of how to make sure buried posts can be refreshed to help drive traffic and much more — covered on Day 8. I learned a new process of creating a “sneeze” page that can help you drive traffic down to key places in your blog — covered on Day 18.

I am using this book and trying to improve my blog ranking for almost 6 months but still no effect.
It does take time to see improvement. If you continue with the activities identified in the book, you will ultimately see improvement. It is definitely not a get rich quick process though. But it will be sustainable — which is much better in my book.
By James, probably you are making something wrong, my sales went up 45% after using some methods described in the book.
The book is interesting, it revealed many new Internet marketing strategies unknown for me.
I read it a few months ago, but unfortunately I had no time to implement on my blog, although my boyfriend tried several social schemes and they were working.
I bought this book, but still I don’t know if it will work, the only thing I know for sure is that Darren Rowse is making 72k USD per month selling his books.
Unfortunately following this book’s advices doesn’t guarantee you top ranking in search engines, but still it is quite interesting for SEO beginners.
The best thing is that “31 Days to build a better blog”, provides you white SEO methods for usage, and I think we should keep it that way, so if there was a contest for best SEO guide, I would vote for it.

This book is amazing it helped me promote my blog and start earning from it, it’s a definitely must have book.
I’m feeling pretty good about the fact that so far I’ve been able to do all tasks described in this book pretty easily, I sincerely hope that they’ll help me with my blog.
The best thing about this book is that your acquisition isn’t just the book itself you have also the possibility to create an account on Darren’s forum where you can ask questions on how to use those methods.
I have read Darren’s book and I have used his methods quite successfully. In short, the book is packed with tons of useful information and well worth buying if you want to succeed in blogging!
The best thing in this book is that it has 31 tasks which you can do on a daily basis. For each day you’ll be given a task along with the instructions on both the WHY and HOW of the task of the day. This approach will help you to learn the task in a better way since along with learning you’ll have actually done something with the knowledge.

Thanks Wilson and everyone else for your thoughts on this book. One thing to remember is that nothing will happen until you take action. And some things will take a bit longer to produce results. But it is a really good guide for improving your blog and if you take steady action you will see improvement. I recommend keeping a copy handy. I actually keep a copy on my Kindle so I have it for a ready reference.

Good for you Joanne! You won’t be sorry. This book is so excellent at helping you improve your blog. I think the best way to read it is to read all the way through, jotting down notes as you go. Then go back and decide what suggestions from the book you want to implement on your blog. From that, create an action plan and take steps to make it happen.
