Don’t lie. You’ve watched at least one video online haven’t you?
It’s hard not to these days. Video is all over the place. So if you haven’t added it into your mix of marketing activities, it’s high time you did. And in case you’re wondering, yes I have a youtube channel.
According to eMarketer, unique views of videos have surged to nearly 136 million. That’s a lot of eyeballs. And they say that YouTube is the hottest place on the web according to the chart below.

So what are you waiting for? It is super simple to record a video. The first thing you need is a cool little Flip camera (I love mine!) and a copy of the free Flip Video Tips guide. (Update: The Flip has been discontinued, but there are several similar cameras on the market that you can apply these tips to.)
Then you need to watch this super easy “how to” video from Small Business Trends on how to upload your video to YouTube.
Yes. It really is that simple. You could have your first video online in less than 30 minutes. And if you decide you need more help, there’s a lot of it available across the web. One of my favorite experts is Lou Bortone. He has all sorts of really cool resources for creating videos.
And if you want professional help for a reasonable cost, you have to check out the folks over at TurnHere. They are the best!
So how about it? Isn’t it time you got started?

I agree with this. I started doing video recently and I’m getting a lot of really positive feedback! I think it’s the future!
Kyle — I agree. It really is gathering storm. And as the technology improves it gets a lot easier to implement.
