Is email marketing dead? That’s what some people think. I disagree. There are still plenty of small business owners connecting via email with prospects and customers every single day. I know my inbox fills up faster than it used to. How about yours?
Granted it’s gotten harder and harder to get through to the inbox, but that doesn’t mean the email marketing channel is dead. I still subscribe to plenty of email newsletters.
I’d love to send you my weekly email newsletter full of small business tips. Just enter your name and email address in the subscribe box to the right and press Send the Tips! (Or you can click here for the subscription form.) I promise no one else will ever get your email address — period.
You’ll get an email just once a week that includes the tips for that week. Simple, huh?
So what about you? Do you send out an email newsletter? Leave me a comment about your email newsletter experience and don’t forget to sign up for my weekly tips below!

I think email marketing is still the best thing since sliced bread. I have owned a personalized gift store in Cleveland, Ohio since 1972. I moved to a smaller location 5 months ago. I think the real reason I had a successful transition, & a decent holiday is because I have over 4000 people on my newsletter mailing list. I kept my customers abreast of the move…. new address… AND new products & holiday specials. My list is totally OPT-IN with a note each time that allows OPT-OUT. Permission is the key.
Denise, I appreciate any info. you or your readers can share on successful email marketing. I feel the more you learn the better. (I have even taken a class at our local “Corporate College” TWICE on email marketing !)
